Summer Football League

Summer Football League - June to August

East Grinstead Sports Club is pleased to confirm the 3rd Annual Football Summer League.

The league will start on the 6th June and run until the 15th August, each team will play each other team once (twice depending on the number of teams). It is a fast, fun league that will allow you and your team mates to keep playing together over the summer and maintain your fitness.  It is also a great opportunity to catch up on some vital teambuilding sessions in the bar afterwards!!

The matches will be played on the sand Astroturf.

All players are to be registered so that we can calculate fair play, the Golden Boot and various other awards, all of which are a new addition to the summer league.

Normal football rules apply apart from:-

  • The matches will be 25 minutes each way

  • There will be rolling subs

  • No off-side

  • Goalkeepers may not leave the goal areas

  • Goal kicks to be taken anywhere in the area

There is a full list of the disciplinary procedures and rules below.

The squad can be up to 20 players with 7 playing, but all need to be registered.

It will be £30 per team to enter the league and £35 per team per game.  On payment a receipt will be issued either in Reception or in the Bar, to be given to the referees before the start of each game.

All fixtures, results and league tables will be posted on this page of the website.

All fixtures, times etc will follow shortly.
