The Gym

We are committed to providing you with a hassle free, enjoyable way to exercise. Whether it be to improve your fitness levels, lose weight or tone up, our staff will be there to help you achieve your goals every step of the way.

We can accommodate everyone from the absolute beginner to the superbly conditioned. The popularity of a gym workout is that it can be done at any time, for any length of time.

There’s also an endless variety of ways of training to discover, each designed to bring about different results. Our fitness advisors are on hand to design a personalised programme for each member, as well as ongoing advice and encouragement.

The gym features a comprehensive range of equipment including cross trainers, treadmills, cycles and rowers as well as the free weight zone, stretch areas and resistance machines to tone and shape your body.  For the runners amongst you, we also have a 1km jogging trail outdoors, running through beautiful woodland.

Everyone using the gym will receive a personal introduction with one of our fully qualified gym instructors. The introduction will include a pre-exercise questionnaire that will allow us to assess your personal goals and any medical conditions, followed by a detailed guide on how to use the equipment correctly and safely.   Our gym teams will be happy to carry out a reassessment whenever you want one.
